We're still here!

Happy Halloween The gang at our trunk or treat. It started raining the minute we got there and poured until we called it quits. The kids were all soaked- but they had fun!

Carving pumpkins. Matt dressed them in old Pace's and Gandolfo's T-shirts to keep their clothes clean (I've trained him well!)

Lizzy started out as Cinderella, but had an accident and ended up being a witch. Just when I think she's potty trained she reminds me otherwise!

Kayden as Venom

Lizzy in her second costume as a witch.

Caleb the pirate.

Mason the Panda
At Mason's 6 month well check-up he weighed 15 lbs 15 oz (25% range), height 27" (75% range) and head 17 3/8" (60% range) Mason is so much fun. He rolls everywhere to get around. He's working on teeth 3 and 4 and is miserable because of it.

Caleb's doing soccer this year instead of basketball. He does really well. He runs hard the entire game. Great way to wear your kids out!!

Mason at 5 months- he's into sticking his tongue out. The lovely Stones genes struck again and Mason broke his first two teeth in just before he was 5 months old! (lucky mom)

I never wanted to cut Lizzy's hair. I wanted it long and beautiful- ha ha! She has such thin hair and it was growing in horribly, so with some persuasion from my sister, I cut it! Turned out pretty cute.

The finished product!

Kayden & Lizzie Lu

Kayden and Lizzie- both suffering from middle child syndrome. So I took their picture to make them happy. Kayden is suffering from what I like to call AMI- anger management issues. He's always glaring at people and won't talk to them. I subbed in Primary for a couple of weeks and he sits there not participating and sometimes plugging his ears during singing time. His Sunbeam teacher is convinced he hates her. Lizzie, little "princess" knows if she screams she gets anything she wants so she won't wake up the baby. Lizzie keeps waking up in weird places. The first time we found her screaming because she woke up shut in her bedroom closet underneath bath towels. The next time Matt couldn't find her at first- then he saw two little feet poking out from under her bed. Poor thing.
Kayden gave his first talk a couple weeks ago in Primary. He did awesome. He had the whole things memorized and he was so excited. He sat "reverently" with his arms folded while he waited up front for his turn. Problem was his legs kicking back and forth in excitement. I'm glad my kids aren't afraid of public speaking like their mother!!

Solids

Since Mason is only 25% in the weight category, it was recommended to start him on solids. Even though the pictures would suggest otherwise- he really does like solids. I think he likes it better than the "milk that comes out of my tummy" as the boys put it.

No More Training Wheels

Kayden

The boys were finally brave enough to lose the training wheels. Kayden won't be out done by anything Caleb does, so it only took him a few days after Caleb learned. We tried quite awhile ago with Caleb, but he gave up too easily and then we took a long break. When we tried again he could already do it. I guess we waited too long!

Four Months Old

Here's our little cutie at four months old. People keep telling me how fast he's growing up and that he doesn't look like a newborn anymore and I want to sock em! It is going too fast. I forgot how fast it goes when they're this young. Enjoy it why you can right? At Mason's 4 month check up he weighed 13 lbs 10 oz which is only 25 %, height 25 1/2 in, 75% and his head was 16 1/2 in which is 50 %- tall and skinny. Mason is so much fun (other than at night when he doesn't sleep). He's rolling over and laughing like crazy. The other kids love playing with their brother!

Our little guy is growing up so fast. Especially when I put him down next to his brand new cousin Camden.

4th of July Blessing

Mason was blessed by his dad on July 4th. Mason was surprisingly good during his blessing.

We had our families over for dinner after the blessing.
Lizzy, Samantha and Conner eating outside.

With all the Stones family actually in the same city, we decided a family picture was in order.

Happy Birthday Caleb

Caleb turned 7 on the 18th of July. He was very excited for his birthday this year. Caleb will be in 2nd grade soon. He loves to read. He also loves to wrestle with Dad and his brother. Caleb has become my big helper and loves to do special things for Mom.

Pioneer Days

July 23rd we went to Bountiful for the parade. It was so HOT!! The kids loved it though because of all the candy thrown their way. They seriously got a ton! Kayden was so excited he was literally jumping up and down doing this little dance. The KSL float was going by and Kevin Eubank saw Kayden and started mimicking him. It was so funny. Lizzy got thrown extra cool stuff like beach balls because she'd stand there looking so cute. To end the parade, Caleb decided to spray bug spray in Kayden's eyes and Samantha's mouth because they were teasing him. A quick call to poison control assured us that Kayden and Sammy would be fine- Caleb would live after all!

Mason at his first parade. He cried through the sirens at the beginning like all my kids did. After the parade we did the traditional ice cream and then on to the fireworks. Lizzy fell asleep just as they were beginning.
