Oh Elizabeth!!!!

A couple of days ago the doorbell rings. I answer the door to find a Clearfield City Police Officer at my door. She asks, "Is everything okay?" "Yes", I say confused. She then continues to tell me, as the second cop car is pulling in front of my house, that they received a 911 call and when they tried to call back the call wouldn't go through. Just before they came over I had been in the basement switching laundry and Kayden hollered down the stairs that Elizabeth was being naughty- playing on the phone and the computer. Apparently, she called 911. I was mortified!! I apologized repeatedly as the cop took my name and number and was probably totally annoyed.

Then this morning my "little darling" was brushing her teeth with the boys and ran out of the bathroom (like she usually does). I finished up with the boys and went to search for Elizabeth. She was in my bathroom. She was dipping her toothbrush in the toilet water and sucking the water off then repeating the process!!!! YUCK!!!! So gross, even if I did just clean the bathroom yesterday!

Caleb's Basketball Debut

Caleb played his first year of Jr. Jazz basketball this year. He had a lot of fun. He learned lots and thinks he's an expert now. He made lots of friends with his teammates. I think he liked the socializing more than playing ball sometimes (must get that from his dad). This Saturday, Caleb gets to end his first season by going to a Jazz game with his team and lucky Dad gets to go along. Caleb often had his own cheering section in the crowd. Thanks to all the family who came and supported Caleb in his games. I'm sure you found them very "entertaining" as we did.

4 Years Old

Happy Birthday Kayden!

Kayden celebrated his 4th birthday on January 31st. He's been so excited for his big day! Caleb told Kayden that when you're four you don't have to take naps anymore. Guess who's taking a nap right now? The four year old! Mom will take the nap as long as she can. Dad made Kayden a number four race track cake for his birthday.

Kayden with his new presents.
One of our family traditions is to let the birthday person pick where they want to go out to eat for their birthday. Caleb, being so helpful, suggested Chuck E Cheese's to Kayden and after that there was no turning back- thanks Caleb. Mom did manage to get Kayden to agree to Red Robin for dinner and games at Chuck E Cheese's. We went to the new Iceberg place for dessert. Dessert cost as much as dinner- good shakes though!
Caleb into the race car game at Chuck E Cheese's. He'd waited all afternoon for the game to open up.
Elizabeth riding the bike at Chuck E Cheese's that raises high up into the air.
Kayden and Elizabeth's turn at the race car game.

Happy Holidays

We took the kids to see the lights at Temple Square. The falling snow was beautiful, but freezing!! The kids liked going inside the Visitors Center to see the Christus and to warm up!

Elizabeth loves her new kitchen. She has a shoe problem already at her young age, so the princess shoes were a big hit.

Caleb and Kayden with their new Christmas toys.

The kids all took turns hiding in the empty box at Grandma Stones house. Elizabeth loved jumping up and saying "boo". We had a wonderful Christmas with our family and are so blessed to live close to them.

Forever Outnumbered

On May 6th, or close to it, we'll welcome a new baby boy into our home. The Stones just don't produce girls. I think my sister-in-law and I were lucky to get the one girl each that we did. Kayden has been so cute with this pregnancy. He's very careful not to push up against my stomach so that he doesn't squish his baby brother. He's also concerned with how the baby gets out from under mom's skin. So far "the doctor takes him out" is working for him. We had our official ultrasound today and everything looks great. My sister Elisa had scanned me earlier. She laughed after two seconds of scanning me when she saw it was another boy. Even the darn cat is a boy. I guess Elizabeth and I were just destined to be outnumbered.

Elizabeth at 18 months

Elizabeth hit a wonderful milestone this month- NURSERY!! Who would've thought that our little mama's girl, that cries for even Grandma and Daddy, would go to nursery with no problems?? Prayers are definitely answered!!!! At Elizabeth's 18 month well check up she weighed in at a whopping 19 lbs 12 oz, still only the 3% range. I asked, well practically begged at the doctors office to let us put our 18 month old in a new car seat instead of the infant carrier she's had since she was born. Permission was sort of granted. Elizabeth may not be gaining much weight, but she's growing longer, 31 1/2 inches (50% range), so her legs hit the vans seat since she's still facing backwards. Here's some of the cute pictures my sister took of Elizabeth. It was so funny during pictures. Elisa or I would pose Elizabeth how we wanted her and Elizabeth would instantly fold her arms and sometimes close her eyes. I don't know if she thought it was time to be reverent or what?
